The team at Friends of Serenity are small but mighty! We are all full-time working parents who put as much time and effort into the charity as possible. Sometimes it isn’t as much as we would like, and sometimes we find a way to cram in a few productive sessions.
We recently asked one of our volunteers, Lisa, if she would like to become one of our trustees and we were delighted when she said yes! That now brings our team up to 5. We know that Lisa is going to bring some fresh energy and enthusiasm to our small team and she has already had her tissue paper folding skills passed by Jo which is going to make her a great asset (more than Lil and Rosie have ever managed!)
In the meantime, we are always grateful to any volunteers, whether it be organising your own fundraising event, turning up and helping at one of our box-making events, knitting items for the boxes or just sharing our Facebook posts to keep getting our message out there.
